Surgical Extractions
Some teeth are extracted because they are severely decayed; others may have advanced periodontal disease, or have been damaged in a way that cannot be repaired. Other teeth may need to be removed due to being poorly positioned in the mouth such as impacted wisdom teeth or to prepare for orthodontic treatment. The removal of even one tooth can lead to aesthetic or function problems such as ability to chew, jaw joint function, and shifting teeth. This can have a negative impact on your dental health as well as mental health.
Dr Tunder will discuss tooth replacement options with you to avoid these complications.
