DR. GEORGE TUNDER

Dr. George Tunder brings an exceptional background in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He graduated from Montour High School and completed his undergraduate degree at Allegheny College in Meadville, PA. Dr. Tunder then attended the University of Pittsburgh Dental School before joining the United States Air Force, where he completed his specialized training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2007. During his military career, he served as the Chief of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Barksdale AFB, LA, and as an associate professor at Louisiana State University in Shreveport, LA.

Dr. Tunder became Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2009. Since transitioning to private practice in 2012, Dr. Tunder has continually expanded his knowledge and expertise, remaining committed to the highest level of patient care and innovation. He is known for his compassionate approach and dedication to advancing his field.

Outside of the office, Dr. Tunder enjoys spending quality time with his family, traveling, and exploring the great outdoors. He is also an avid sports fan and a devoted Pittsburgh Penguins supporter.
